Rugby Team Summer Fundraisers
The Kelvin Hall year 10 rugby team will be holding two fundraising events over the summer holidays to help them get closer to the fundraising target for their playing tour of Australia next year.
The first event is a Race Afternoon and Karaoke, organised the team from Archbishop Sentamu who will also be taking part in the tour. It will take place at the Hull Cheese Pub in the city centre on Sunday, July 22, from 2pm. Tickets cost £2 and there will be a buffet available.
If anyone is interested in sponsoring a Horse and Jockey, the price is £3 and you can also sponsor a race for just £5.
The second fundraiser is a Golf Day at Cottingham Parks Golf Club on Friday, July 27. There are tee off times for 18 teams of four players and the 10am until 1pm time slot is still available. The price per team is £100 (£25 per player), which includes a breakfast on arrival, a round of golf and half way house refreshments. Dress code for the day is smart casual (no jeans or shorts).
