Rivers Of The World
Kelvin Hall students recently displayed a collaborative artwork for The British Council's 'Rivers Of The World' art project at an exhibition at Kingswood Academy in Hull. Six schools in Hull were twinned with schools in Freetown, Sierra Leone, and all the participating schools created a piece of work about their home city during the summer of 2017. The resulting artworks were displayed on both London's South Bank and in Freetown. During 2018, the twinned schools will share their resources and make an artwork about their twin town.
Here are some images taken from the exhibition. Thanks to our Year 10 students Betty Loades, Alisha Abbott, Lilly-Mae Stonell, Yazmin Rea and Megan Johnson who took part, and were representing the school at the exhibition.
